I’m starting the New Year off on a silent note. I had planned to do a quick video on this subject until I lost my voice. I’m certain you would not want to hear my squeaky voice plus have to look at me too.

Thankfully the year 2012 is behind us and we’re here to talk about it. The folks that believed the Mayan’s were predicting the end of the world on 12/21/2012 were wrong and we avoided the fiscal cliff. What a year!

The rumors have already started that taxes will be going up for everyone. Surprise! If this happens, what will it do to our already weak economy? How will this affect investors? Should investors begin to make plans to avoid the pitfalls of a continued poor economy? Should investments be restructured to take advantage of an ever changing market? Does less economic freedom lead to lower stock market returns?

From an investor/investment standpoint, a poor economy does not necessarily indicate a poor investment outlook. In fact there are many times in history when our country was in a recession and the investment markets did quite well.

All of the above questions will be answered during our new investor education class later this month where I will show our audience some remarkable data that demonstrates just how the stock market has handled past recessionary periods all the way back to the early 1900’s. We will specifically look at the equity returns during recession years here in the U.S. and abroad. There’s even an asset class that put’s gold to shame. We will look at whether or not we should be panicky with another four years with President Obama, a Democrat controlled Senate and a Republican controlled House. We even answer the question of whether or not you should get out the market.

I invite you to plan to attend this specific class…it’s worth changing your schedule if needed. You won’t be disappointed that you did. You will leave with the necessary information to carry you throughout the entire year of 2013.

Please note: This class has no political undertones whatsoever. It’s purely data and returns related information…you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the information presented regardless of your political preference.

Our next class:

Oh My Goodness, Obama was Re-Elected, Should You Get Out Of The Market?
January 22nd at 10:30 am & 6:30 pm
January 24th at 10:30 am

(We will add more class times and dates as needed)

Unfortunately many people are listening to the Wall Street Bullies and the media and are being led into traps that only benefit the bullies.  Don’t let this happen to you!
